A multinational company, leader in the exploitation of oilfields, has entrusted Fioravanti with the management of a very difficult operation, both in timing and in technique.
The task is the one of supplying, as quickly as possible, a third party manufacturer located in Bergamo, with 1650 cm long titanium pipes and titanium sheet with a diameter of 300cm.
The supplier was placed in the area of San Pietroburgo.
At the end of the manufacturing process in Italy, the products had to be delivered to a Norway oil rig off-shore in the Baltic sea.
Fioravanti charters an aeroplane, lliuscin 76 T, equipped with a crane to load the cargo.
Since the particular length of boxes the loading is made with two “elevators” placed on the ground, which support the boxes’ extremity and the crane takes the cargo to the aeroplane.
The flight is San Pietroburgo _ Lipsia. Once in Lipsia Fioravanti’s correspondent carries out the customs formalities and follows the operations of unloading and those of reloading the cargo on three trucks, one of them used for “ special transport”.
