The transport of a ground drilling plant from the province of Piacenza to delivered duty paid Djelfa, located in the Centre-North of Algeria.
This is the assignment that Fioravanti receives and for which it must carry out all the necessary operations, going in with the study of the plant dismantling in order to make the transport possible. Through its local agent, Fioravanti takes care of the import customs entry in Algeria, including duty and tax payment, and supplies with complete insurance coverage up to site delivery.
The piece giving bigger transport troubles, especially for the discharging operations in Algeria and the trucking transport from the seaport to Djelfa, is the drilling tower: a piece 21 meters long, 2,90 meters wide and meters 1,90 high.
Part of the plant is stuffed in 20ft and 40ft open top containers; the out of gauge pieces and the vehicle are loaded on RO-RO vessel sailing Leghorn to Alger.
